Dear Mike,
We got 19" of snow by Monday. I am so excited, we haven't had that much snow in a long time. Hap loves it. He looks like an oreo cookie when he lifts his head out of the snow. He has an old knotted leash with the hook cut off that is his favorite toy. He is so smart, when I throw it in the snow, he flips it up in the air with his nose and grabs it it the air so he doesn't have to bite snow. The two 8 yr old boys that live down the street have taken him "sledding" in their backyard twice since the snow fell. They keep him for about 40 minutes. It's so cute to have the boys come and ask if Hap can come out to play. Trina (the pick up neighbor) took him cross country skiing for an hour on Wed. This week he had his first "home alone" days. Mon I think he was too tired from the weekend to get into trouble... Tues was the test... and he didn't eat any plants or kill the cockatiel, or destroy anything. Two friends with 1 1/2 & 2 year old dogs still crate them when they leave for any period of time. His only bad habit is the bathroom trash. I'm trying to get a good snow picture to send....  Hope all is well, Cath
